LM Reynolds

IT consultant and Pan Am veteran LM Reynolds pens suspense thrillers born of an ongoing interest in international intrigue. Often inspired by actual incidents, her yarns tell of long-held secrets and their influence on the present. Her award-winning novel Spies in Our Midst employed the harrowing setting of the Iranian revolution. Its sequel, Spies We Know, is centered in India. One Deliberate Act, the third novel in the series, features a backstory from the Yugoslav Wars in the nineties.

As the daughter of a US Air Force pilot, Ms. Reynolds developed an early enthusiasm for aviation and travel. After graduating from Indiana University, she joined Pan American Airlines—a career that allowed her to explore the world. She eventually joined Pan Am’s management team, developing and orchestrating training programs for airline employees. She was an early entrant in computer technology, and after Pan Am’s fall, took a deep dive into computer programming, application design, and network administration. After a lifetime of writing snippets of stories, she launched a third career as a novelist.

Ms. Reynolds enjoys meeting with book clubs and Friends of the Library groups. When these groups gather, they often contribute to deserving causes by donating to library funds or to Engage Nepal (EngageNepal.org), a charity that she supports. Engage Nepal works with Nepal’s most vulnerable — women, children, and those in marginalized and forgotten communities — on nutrition and health, education for children, and job creation, to provide assistance and hope for a better future for all. Ms. Reynolds gives back by offering to include an attendee in an upcoming novel. If you would like to become a character in a future novel, click here to inquire.
